Her areas of specialization include strategic and master planning, stakeholder outreach, solid waste and recyclables collection options evaluations and efficiency studies, procurement assistance, financial feasibility analysis, and ordinance review and development. Allison's commitment to her field is evident in her certifications as a Practitioner in Zero Waste Principles and Practices and her recent recognition with the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Collection and Transfer Distinguished Individual Achievement Award (2021). She currently holds the position of Technical Divisions Director on the SWANA International Board and is an active American Public Works Association (APWA) Waste Knowledge Team member.
