Insights

In addition to our work for clients and communities across the country supporting reductions in the amount of waste going to landfills, optimizing financial and economic performance, or developing sustainability strategies, NewGen is committed to sharing our success within the communities we serve and live. Since 2015, NewGen has committed to giving 1% of our gross revenues to charity each year. As a part of that commitment, we dedicate a portion of the contribution to nationally recognized organizations, while also targeting our own communities and local charities where we serve and live.

In 2019, NewGen donated ~$81K amongst 36 organizations nationwide, with over $200K being donated since the program inception. The following is a list of charities supported in 2019:

  • NewGen assisted the City of New Braunfels in developing the RFP for single stream recycling processing, the evaluation of the proposals, and the successful negotiation of an agreement that is very beneficial to our program. Thanks to the NewGen team for help and guidance throughout the recycling procurement process. As usual, they did great work!
