NewGen Strategies and Solutions, LLC (NewGen) is pleased to announce several key organizational changes to its management structure. Dave Yanke has been appointed as the company’s new President and CEO, replacing Joe Mancinelli, who has served in this capacity since 2014. Joe will remain with NewGen in the capacity of Director and President Emeritus.
Dave joined NewGen in 2014 as a partner leading the company’s Municipal Solid Waste Practice. In 2015 Dave was appointed Managing Director for the company’s Environmental Practice, expanding his leadership responsibilities to include the Water and Wastewater Practice. With over 30 years of experience providing consulting services to his public sector utility clients, Dave’s leadership and insights will be instrumental as NewGen continues to grow and provide expert services to its clients.
Stepping into the vacancy left by Dave’s promotion are Matthew Garrett as Managing Director – Water and Wastewater Practice and Allison Trulock as Managing Director – Municipal Solid Waste Practice. A former municipal finance director, Matthew has been with NewGen since 2013 and brings over 18 years of consulting and public sector experience to the role. Allison joined NewGen in 2017, having worked with many of NewGen’s members at R.W. Beck prior to NewGen’s founding. She brings over 20 years of experience in the solid waste industry to the role.
Tony Georgis will continue in his role as Managing Director - Energy Practice, which he has filled since 2017. A founding member of NewGen, Tony has over 20 years of experience in the consulting/utilities industries focusing on energy, water, and waste resources.
These organizational changes became effective as of January 1, 2021.
